They walk lightly and energetically on their muscular legs. Hair and colour: They have long, straight, thick hair with fine undercoat, except on the head. The basic colour is clear white, with black spots on the trunk and the hindquarters. The neck, chest, belly, legs and tail are always white. Head: Wide, big, with well-developed occipital bone. The sides of the mouth are dry. The nasal septum and the flaps are pigmented black. The skin on the head is not wrinkled and is covered with short, fine hair. Ears: Medium-size, triangular in shape, not set too far back, carried straight and close to the sides of the head, and covered with short, fine hair. Eyes: Medium-size, the colour ranging from brown to dark brown, friendly look. Body: Wide, muscular neck, Adam’s apple is not developed. Straight, level, very wide and strong back. Deep and broad chest, with slightly tucked-up belly. Strong, muscular legs with large, so-called cat-feet. Webbed feet, the toes connected by webbing almost reaching the tip of the toes. Tail: Strong with bushy and dense hair. When the dog is standing or at ease, the tail is hanging downwards and its end may be slightly curved. Height: Dogs are 72-80 cm high at the withers, and bitches are 67-72 cm high. ![]() |
